While in the Midcoast Maine area why not enjoy a sea kayak tour on Muscongus Bay, or improve your skills with kayak lessons? Our retail store is located in the quaint village of Damariscotta. The "kayak shack" is the place to go to reserve a tour or rental, and to gear up on essential kayak equipment. We are authorized dealers of Necky Kayak, Eddyline Kayak, and Old Town. So the yard is filled with boats for sale and the store has a nice selection of paddles, pfd's, spray skirts, dry bags, safety gear, and you name it.

Midcoast Kayak offers a variety of sea kayak programs in the Midcoast Maine region. Our tours leave from Muscongus Harbor, a quiet harbor two miles north of Round Pond village. We keep our boats and gear there so all you have to do is arrive, get geared up, and enjoy a tour on Muscongus Bay led by a Registered Maine Guide. Lessons are taught by ACA Certified Instructors on Biscay Pond or on the ocean. You can also rent boats out of either location and launch immediately, or load them on your car to take them where you want. Take advantage and explore the many beautiful coastal waterways, ponds, rivers, and lakes of the region. And don't forget, we can also deliver to the location of your stay. Have fun!
